Terms of Service

Scope of work

Each engagement starts from a written scope that lists deliverables, acceptance criteria, price and timeline. Work outside that scope is quoted separately. Package prices published on this site are indicative starting prices for a standard configuration.

Payment

Unless agreed otherwise: 50% on scope sign-off, 50% on delivery. Fixed-price packages include the support window stated in the scope. Late payment beyond 14 days may pause work.

Intellectual property

Custom code and documentation produced for a client transfer to that client on final payment. Pre-existing tools, libraries and internal frameworks remain Grainpipe property and are licensed to the client for use with the delivered system. Third-party open-source components keep their own licences.

Confidentiality

We treat client data, systems and business information as confidential, and will sign a mutual NDA on request. We do not publish client names or case details without written permission.

Warranty and liability

We fix defects in delivered work free of charge during the stated support window. Beyond that, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing terms

Specific commercial terms (entity, currency, jurisdiction, dispute resolution) are set in the signed contract for each engagement; where a signed contract conflicts with this page, the contract prevails.
